Tame Impala
Sometimes it’s hard to explain where the inspiration for a poster idea comes from. There’s just this feeling, standing in the crowd in front of a stage and a gigantic psychedelic sound wave overcomes you. Sound surrounds you, light surrounds you and this indescribable awesome atmosphere is getting to you.
And that’s the result. Two posters for Tame Impalas shows in Amsterdam and Brussels.

Sleater-Kinney
We designed this Gig poster for Sleater-Kinney. One half was printed at Abnormal Tees in NY, and the other part at Rainbow studio.
It’s so simple as it seems. THREE girls in a band symbolized by a triangle, that is only scaled. Printed with THREE screens, in THREE colors, witch form THREE mixed colors. And only one step out of line that don’t fit into anything else.

I AM KLOOT
Unknown Mortal Orchestra
This poster has sold out after a couple of shows of their European Tour 2015. So the band asked for a second edition. No problem for us! We changed the colors and printed another round of 100 posters.
Many people ordered this print asking us »Who’s Unknown Mortal Orchestra?« They are just brilliant. We were so blessed to work with them.

A Winged Victory For The Sullen
A Winged Victory For The Sullen. This music increases from silent notes to a very complex sound. We had this idea of growth, but at the same time we wanted to go back to the bottom line. We used the image of cell division, which starts as one unit and than keeps dividing itself into two, four, eight… But natural growth isn’t at all projectable. Eventually new results will follow. This moment is symbolized by mixing blue and red, which turn purple.

The Kooks
This design is an abstract translation of Play – Stop – Skip – Pause based on the letter shapes of The Kooks. It was created for their new album »Listen«, which was released in 2014. The letters were rotated, simplified, connected, mirrored, … They create a playful, rhythmical, moving picture.

Exhibition at WÄRMEHALLE SÜD, Leipzig
For our exhibition in March 2014 we built some special „light boxes“ to display the original artwork of our design process. This was part of the famous Millionaires Club, which took place at the same time.
With friendly support from Wärmehalle Süd in Leipzig.
Letterpress
The Flying Eyes
The Flying Eyes are directly smashing their heavy, psychedelic rock sound in in your face without wasting to much time with friendly welcoming words.
And that’s why our proof press was chosen to imprint some really nice silver sound waves in to the heavy yellow paper. Together with the second layer the poster starts to irritate you eyes very nicelyyyyyyy.
